The Summer Programme – Coate Water

| This year’s nominated park for the “Bernard Hinton” competition, Coate Water country park is well known to members for its reservoir and art deco diving board. The park is very large and includes a nature reserve with bird hides, woodland, a golf course and splash park. There are several walks around the park, with a 1.75 mile walk around the lake itself. Many of the paths are level and accessible for wheelchair users.

How to get there – Coate Water is 2 miles from the centre of Swindon off Queens Drive. The car park is accessed from the Coate roundabout – parking costs £2 for 24 hours.
